BEAUTIFULLY WASTED

This series of paintings were part of EVOLUTION - EXODUS - a joint exhibition with photographer Tiffany Garvie, celebrating humanity’s growth and lamenting its unfettered expansion on our natural environment.

These works have been constructed from waste materials and found objects - soft plastics, sawdust, mesh onion bags, chicken wire, kitchen sink plunger, plywood offcuts and a COVID mask, among some of the materials used.

 

A powerful representation of the impact our daily life has on our coral reefs and oceans.
