ARTIST STATEMENT

WONDERFULLY WEIRDLY is a dancing, festive, abstract human form, inspired by memories

of my first pride parade back in the late 90’s...

This artwork - a digital mashup - has been

cut up, then reconstructed, using photography

to capture details of a painting I created from found objects/waste materials; chicken wire,

soft plastics, plywood and old house paint.
